The third EP released in 2003 by ambient rock band Onion Jack. Recorded September-October 2003. All songs written by Daniel Vincent. Keyboards on "Ether" by Lisa Vincent. Topics: Onion Jack, progressive rock
Onion Jack are Daniel and Peter Vincent. They make ether-melting mind music. Their fine, multi-layered EP, 'Country Mile' (Mrs.Vee, VOJCD02, 2003) is quite simply one of the best albums I've heard this year in the principally indie[scribable] category. Four tracks on this CD are quiet, slighly morose, and fragile. Plenty of atmospheric reverbed keyboards and some delicate vocals. They are often nearly static in terms of movement like some of the Penguin Cafe Orchestras works. I am very glad to hear these versions because I did... Topics: Onion Jack, Karma Pilot, Daniel Vincent, acoustic, progressive, electronica
